Middle School News And Events
Know anyone who’s king of the go-kart track? Can dunk like Jordan? Maybe longboarding is a hobby? Or thinks milkshakes are a food group? Why not invite them to apply for an internship with Student Ministry? As long as they’re willing to get a little uncomfortable for the sake of Jesus – they’ve already fulfilled one of the requirements.

How will you respond when someone challenges your faith? Questions can come any time: pre-game warm-ups, movie night at a friend’s house, dinner out after prom. Those questions can easily turn into arguments. Part of faith is knowing how to defend it. Equip yourself during our ‘I Object!’ series beginning April 23.
Disciple Now 2014 Breakout Sessions
Trying new things can be excited or scary. But when you end up liking the new thing, it sticks with you for a while. This year at Disciple Now, we tried something new. We hosted break-out sessions. And we like them. With only two rounds and a ton of fun choices, you may not have made it to all the sessions you wanted to hear. We’ve attached some of the outlines here so you can get a taste of what you missed. Who knows, since we liked it so much, we might just do it again next year.
Wednesday Night Lights (Refresh)
What happens when the girls take over the football field and the guys take over the pom-poms? We’ll find out April 16 at 6:00 p.m. on the Sevier Heights front lawn for Wednesday Night Lights.
Girls face off in a powderpuff flag football game and the fellas compete in a cheer off - all in one night. Get your squad/team together and register before 6:30 p.m. on April 16. (Hint: You have a better chance at winning a prize if you register early. Thank us later.)
Get your face paint and high kicks ready because the game is officially on.
